Google has introduced a powerful new AI feature aimed at its productivity suite users. The tool, integrated into Gemini Canvas, can now read and interpret any document or report and automatically generate a complete, professionally designed Google Slides presentation.
This new function is designed to save hours of manual formatting. The AI analyzes the provided text file and intelligently structures it into a slide deck, creating titles, section breaks, and even adding relevant visuals, all formatted with a clean, modern theme.
This marks a significant expansion of Gemini’s capabilities. Previously known as a writing and brainstorming assistant, Gemini Canvas is now a powerful tool for visual transformation, turning refined text ideas into presentation-ready slides almost instantly.
For students, professionals, and teams, this update could redefine workflows. The ability to move from a research paper or business report to a polished presentation in seconds removes a major bottleneck in productivity.
The feature is currently rolling out globally to both personal Google accounts and Workspace users. While Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers seem to be getting the initial rollout, Google has indicated a wider release for all users is coming soon.
