Qatar and Panama have engaged in discussions to enhance bilateral relations and address regional developments. Panama’s President José Raúl Mulino met with Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during Al Khulaifi’s visit to Panama. The two leaders focused on ways to strengthen cooperation between their nations and explored various issues of mutual interest.

In addition to this meeting, Dr. Al Khulaifi also held talks with Panama’s Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Hoyos. Their discussions included a review of the existing bilateral ties and recent developments in Latin America, touching upon other matters of common interest between the two countries.
