ESET Unveils eCrime Reports, Empowering Security Teams Against Cybercriminals

by admin477351

ESET has unveiled eCrime Reports, a significant addition to its Threat Intelligence portfolio, aimed at helping businesses navigate the increasing complexities of ransomware and infostealers. This strategic offering provides companies with comprehensive insights into cyber incidents, complete with affiliate-level attack visibility and detailed attack-chain timelines. The new reports are designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality cyber threat intelligence (CTI) as organizations struggle with the vastness and intricacy of modern cyber threats.

According to Roman Kováč, ESET’s Chief Research Officer, the eCrime Reports blend technical detail with practical defense guidance, enabling law enforcement, IT, and security teams to anticipate and counteract cyber threats effectively. These reports focus primarily on ransomware and infostealers, offering organizations crucial insights to bolster their cybersecurity measures, especially in high-risk environments. The eCrime Reports are available in two tiers, with the Advanced version providing additional features such as the ESET AI Advisor and access to a MISP server for enhanced threat intelligence integration.

Built on proprietary data and telemetry, ESET’s eCrime Reports offer unique insights into global cyber intrusions. The reports move beyond traditional monitoring to uncover hidden clusters of activity by following tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). They can be augmented with ESET’s proprietary intelligence feeds covering a range of threats including Android Infostealers, Ransomware, and Phishing URLs. The emphasis on quality threat intelligence data helps customers minimize the resources needed to process feeds, allowing them to quickly identify and address emerging risks.

The eCrime Reports include several components: a high-level Activity Summary of ransomware and infostealer campaigns, a Technical Analysis offering a deep dive into specific threats, a Monthly Digest summarizing key trends, and an eCrime Feed providing continuously updated indicators of compromise (IoCs). The Advanced tier features the ESET AI Advisor, a tool integrating AI and machine learning expertise to help security analysts interpret and respond to incidents swiftly.

ESET’s eCrime Reports enhance the company’s existing Threat Intelligence portfolio, which also includes premium APT Reports analyzing activities from state-aligned groups in Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. These reports provide geopolitical context and insights into espionage and exploitation activities. As ESET presents this new offering at the RSAC 2026 cybersecurity tradeshow, it aims to showcase its commitment to delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions that help businesses stay ahead of global cyber threats.
