In a move to enhance diplomatic relations, the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has communicated with Singapore’s President Tharman Shanmugaratnam through a written message. The focus of the message was on the strengthening of bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for cooperation between Qatar and Singapore.

The delivery of this message was facilitated by Qatar’s Ambassador to Singapore, HE Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki. The ambassador conveyed the letter during a meeting with Jeevan Singh, who serves as the Director-General of the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia Directorate at Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The discussions between the Qatari ambassador and Jeevan Singh underscored the commitment of both nations to deepening their diplomatic engagements.
